Exemplary Solo Recognition Project
 

Exemplary Soloist List Online
The Exemplary Solo Recognition Project expands recognition of outstanding soloists at the WSMA State Festival. State Festival Adjudicators select the most exceptional student soloists at each of the nine WSMA State Festival sites. This spring, State Festival Adjudicators identified more than 450 truly exemplary soloists.
Student Composition Project
 

Award Ceremony Friday at State Capitol
WSMA will be honoring winners of its 18th annual WSMA/DPI Student Composition Project on May 26. Eight students from across the state will be recognized for their creative musical work during a 1 p.m. awards ceremony at the State Capitol building, Madison.
State Honors Music Project
 

Middle Level State Honors
Congratulations to all students who auditioned for the Middle Level State Honors Music Project. A letter with results will be mailed to students June 1. Teachers will receive an email with a link to the final list of students who have been accepted into the program. The Middle Level Honors Project timeline is available online.

High School State Honors
A total of 421 talented students will soon head off to the High School State Honors Music Camps taking place at UW-Green Bay from June 17-24. Teachers and parents are encouraged to attend the "work-in- progress" concerts of these amazing young musicians. Concerts will be June 20 and 24. Launchpad Finals Competition
 

Cheer on the Bands!
Twelve bands made up of high school students throughout Wisconsin are advancing to the Launchpad state finals competition on June 17 at Mitby Theater (MATC) in Madison. Celebrate the reach of music education by coming out to the competition and showing your support!
