Wisconsin Center for Music Education Workshops

Earn Graduate Credit Close to Home!
The Wisconsin Center for Music Education is offering a variety of professional development opportunities for music teachers, including follow-up workshops to four sessions held during the 2006 Wisconsin State Music Conference. Presentations from these conference sessions have been recorded and are available online; therefore conference attendance is not required to attend a follow-up workshop. Some workshops are also available by videoconference at several locations around the state, and most can be taken for graduate credit.

Follow-up Workshops
Kathy Bartling - Infusing Technology Into the Elementary Music Curriculum, Feb. 3
Karen Iken - Connections: Music and Literacy, Feb. 10
Richard Tengowski - Your Students Can Compose, Feb. 10 and April 14
Bob Baca - Starting a Jazz Program From Scratch, Feb. 24

Launchpad is a program of the Wisconsin Foundation for School Music and was developed to celebrate the reach of music education. Application deadline is February 9, 2007. Get more information...
