| Tuesday, December 11 | Online Audition Registration Program open. |
| 2008 | |
| Thursday, February 7 | Middle Level Honors online registration closes at 11:00 pm Wisconsin time. Late applications will not be accepted. All audition invoices and fees must be postmarked on February 8. Audition fee is $18.00 per audition. |
| Wednesday, March 19 | Audition schedule available. Teachers receive an email once the schedule is posted on the WSMA web site. The searchable database will allow users to find audition times by individual name or to print schedules for an entire school. Audition numbers will not appear online, but will be used at auditions. |
| Friday, April 4 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Sun Prairie, Wausau and La Crosse. Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. |
| Saturday, April 5 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Eau Claire, Appleton and Fort Atkinson. Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. |
| Saturday, April 12 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Dousman. Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. |
| June 5 | Students receive a letter informing
them of results. Teachers will receive an email informing them of their students' results. Fall 2008 tuition has been set at $200.00 by the WSMA Board. |
| August 15 | Middle Level Honors music is mailed to students along with important fall information for parents. |
| September 7 | WSMA sends an email to teachers requesting their assistance in preparing students for the October concert. |
| Friday, October 31 | Middle Level Honors students required rehearsal day at Waunakee High School. |
| Saturday, November 1 | Middle Level State Honors Choir, Orchestra and Band concert held at the Madison Marriott West. Concert time 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm. |
