| Tuesday, December 8 | Online Audition Registration Program open. |
| 2010 | |
| Thursday, February 4 | Middle Level Honors online registration closes at 11:00 pm Wisconsin time. Late applications will not be accepted. All audition invoices and fees must be postmarked within one week of registration deadline. Audition fee is $19.50 per audition. |
| Wednesday, March 17 | Audition schedule available. Teachers receive an email once the schedule is posted on the WSMA web site. The searchable database will allow users to find audition times by individual name or to print schedules for an entire school. Audition numbers will not appear online, but will be used at auditions. |
| Friday, April 9 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Wausau and La Crosse. Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. |
| Saturday, April 10 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Eau Claire and Appleton Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. |
| Friday, April 16 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Sun Prairie. Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. |
| Saturday, April 17 | Middle Level Honors auditions held in Dousman (Kettle Moraine School District). Auditions will be scheduled from approximately 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. |
| No later than June 4 | Students receive a letter informing
them of results. Teachers will receive an email informing them of the mailing of students' results letters. |
| August 9 | Middle Level Honors music is mailed to students along with important fall information for parents. |
| September 10 | WSMA sends an email to teachers requesting their assistance in preparing students for the October concert. |
| Friday, October 29 | Middle Level Honors students required rehearsal day at Waunakee High School. |
| Saturday, October 30 | Middle Level State Honors Choir, Orchestra and Band concert held at the Madison Marriott West. Concert time 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. |
