| 2007 | Inform students about the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project, a nationally known program of excellence. Make copies of the audition requirements for students, or encourage students to print their own copies when they register. |

| October 25 | High School State Honors Band & Orchestra Concert - Madison Overture Center 4:30 p.m. |
| October 25 | High School State Honors Treble Choir & Mixed Choir Concert - Madison Overture Center 8:00 p.m. |
| October 26 | State Honors Jazz Ensemble Concert - Madison Monona Terrace Convention Center 11:30 a.m. |
| October 27 | Middle Level State Honors Choir, Orchestra, Band Concert - Madison Marriott-West 1:00 p.m. |
| November 1 | Registration online for the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project begins. Print and mail payment or P.O. with invoice before December 7, 2007. Invoices must be signed by school music teachers. |
| December 7 | High School Honors online audition registration closes at 11:00 p.m. Wisconsin time. Late applications will not be accepted. |
| 2008 | |
| January 18 | Honors audition schedules will be posted online. The searchable database will allow users to find by individual name, or print out schedules for an entire school. Audition numbers will not appear online, but will be used at auditions to identify performers to the adjudicaotr. Names or schools are not used. |
| Feruary 2 | Auditions in Appleton, Eau Claire and Waukesha. |
| Feruary 9 | Auditions in Middleton, La Crosse, Milwaukee and Stevens Point. |
| April 1 | Students receive audition results letter. Tuition is $400.00 for High School Honors membership. |
| April 25 | High School State Honors Membership acceptance contracts and tuition payments are due to WSMA. |
| June 14 - 17 | High School Honors Orchestra, Treble Choir and Jazz Ensemble Camp at UW-Green Bay. |
| June 18 - 21 | High School Honors Band and Mixed Choir Camp at UW-Green Bay. |
