The Foundation supports and extends the programs of the Wisconsin
School Music Association (WSMA). Created in 1932 as
a service organization, WSMA provides support and unity for school music
programs throughout the state. Through the leadership of a volunteer
Board of Directors and headquarters staff, WSMA has developed and
matured over the years into a more complete association that not
only responds to the needs of more than 1000 public and private
member schools, but also identifies possibilities and experiences
for students that schools could not provide individually. These
opportunities include:
