History of the Richard and Nancy Wolf Resource Center
The Richard and Nancy Wolf Resource Center was founded in 2005 when the Wisconsin Center for Music Education officially opened. Family, friends, colleagues and many others named this unique center in honor of Dick and Nan, recognizing their significant contributions to music education in Wisconsin.
Planning for the center developed through a Resource Center Steering Committee consisting of music educators, instructional media professionals, community volunteers, and staff. The staff of the Wisconsin Center for Music Education would like to thank the members of the Resource Center Steering Committee for their dedicated service and expertise:
| Tom Buchhauser | Sharon Munson |
| Richard Fellenz | Steve Sundell |
| Terri Felton | Jan Swenson |
| Michael George |
Mission of the Richard and Nancy Wolf Resource Center
The mission of the Richard and Nancy Wolf Resource Center is to serve music education and the members of the organizations within the Wisconsin Center for Music Education by acquiring, organizing and preserving a comprehensive collection of musical information and providing access to that information through personal interaction and information technology, to the fullest extent of our abilities and resources.
