Graduate Credit Information
School Year 2009-2010 Courses
Earn one graduate credit through Viterbo University for each 15 hours of professional development workshop or clinic events that you attend. Please visit the individual workshop pages (linked below) for specific information about each workshop.
To register for course credit, please complete the Viterbo University registration form (available for each course, linked below) and mail it with payment to:

The cost for all courses is $180 per credit, payable to Viterbo University. This cost is in addition to your workshop registration fees (except for online courses, in which credit is included - please see course description for details). If you wish to pay by credit card, please call us to register at 1-800-589-9762. (Please note that your card will not be charged until after the course has started.) You may also register on-site at each workshop.
Please do not send graduate credit registrations directly to Viterbo University. Registration forms and payment should be sent to the state music office at the address above. If you are registering for more than one course, please include a separate check and registration form for each course. Thank you!
- January 24 - March 6, 2010: Building a Classroom Web Site, Tim Smith (online course through Viterbo University)
- March 22 - May 2, 2010: GarageBand in the Classroom, David Johnson (online course through Viterbo University)
- Spring 2010: Technology Webinar Series - a series of 1-hour webinars focusing on different aspects of using technology in your classroom, details TBA
- Spring 2010: CMP Webinar Series - a series of 1-hour webinars focusing on different aspects of the Comprehensive Musicianship through Performance (CMP) model, details TBA
- Spring 2010: Gifted and Talented Webinar Series - a series of 1-hour webinars for gifted/talented coordinators and music educators on how to use the new Music Identification Handbook/Gifted and Talented Resource Guide, details TBA
Transcript requests may be made directly to Viterbo University. The charge for transcripts (official or unofficial) is $5 per copy per request, due at the time of request. Allow at least six weeks from the completion of the course for transcripts and grade reports to be available. Request for Transcript forms may be downloaded here (pdf).
