WSMA Field Reps

Since the inception of the Field Rep Program in 1994, it has been an essential component in the success of WSMA programs. Field Reps are retired music educators who continue to give their time, knowledge and experience in support of WSMA activities. Their expertise and enthusiasm has always been of the highest quality and we look forward to more involvement as the Associations move into the future.

Field Reps have assisted at the Wisconsin Center for Music Education with the following projects:

Tom Buchhauser sorting of orchestral scores in Marvin Rabin Orchestral Library of Richard and Nancy Wolf Resource Center.

Jo Anne Wroblewski selected piano music of various periods for Richard and Nancy Wolf Resource Center.

Dan Gilmore assisted in music selection for the WSMA music festival list.

Ernie Broeniman researched and selected Pre-Approved selections for WSMA Festival List Event 9218.

Paul Luhring-PEL Music Co. arranged Middle Level Honors ensemble music for use at 2007 wind and string auditions.

Since the fall 2009 meeting, field reps have participated in the following projects:

WSMA State Marching Band Championships at UW-Whitewater: Wayne Crook, Tom Fisher, Dan Gilmore, Phyllis Gilmore, John Hinkley, and Sharon Munson sold tickets.

Wisconsin State Music Conference: 23 field reps provided 140 hours of assistance.

Eight Field Reps involved in the initial adjudicator assignments for the 2010 spring festival season. Assisting in the three-day project were Sharon Munson, Jan Tweed, Bob Gentile, Jo Anne Wroblewski, Dan Gilmore, Kay Lynn Taylor, Linda Becker and Linda Meier.

Two Field Reps, Sharon Munson and Gerald Gleason, assisted with the 2010 concert festival adjudication assignments.
